This conference is presented by the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Bamboo Society and the Ned Jaquith Foundation, supporting worldwide bamboo research so payment will be made through the Pacific NW Chapter. Registration is restricted to 100 attendees, so register early to assure that you will have a seat!
Schedule in brief:
Thursday October 17 – Travel or The ABS Board of Directors Meeting at the Moonrise Hotel. Board Members and Conference attendees will be notified of the exact time and place.
Thursday October 17 – 5 pm Meet and greet – An informal no-host get-together at 5 PM at the Moonrise Rooftop Bar
Friday October 18 – Meeting, Exhibits
Saturday October 19 – Meeting , Silent and Live Auction, Exhibits
Sunday October 20 – Tour the Botanical Garden and visit the ZOO (free)
Location: Missouri Botanical Garden – MoBot Bayer Event Center – 4344 Shaw Blvd. 63110 St. Louis, MO.
Suggested Hotel: Moonrise Hotel– 6177 Delmar Loop St. Louis, MO – WE ARE NOT HOLDING A BLOCK OF ROOMS; you can get good room rates online (Hotels.com, etc). DO IT NOW! If you would like to share a room at the Moonrise Hotel please let us know and we will do our best to find you a room-mate.
Exhibits will be set up in the MOBAT Lobby area- A table size exhibit space for micro-businesses and non-profits are free but let us know if you want a more extensive exhibit space. Sponsors at the “Asper” ($3,000 level) will already have an exhibit table. If you want to be a “Sponsor” let us know!
