Of Note: Things are shifting into gear for the installation of the Hoyt Arboretum’s new Bamboo Collection. The permits have been filed and the removal of existing plantings is scheduled to begin this month, with the first bamboo plantings expected to be in by early July. Thank you to Peggie and Martin of the Arboretum for your tireless work on this project, as well as thank you to Bamboo Garden for a generous donation of bamboo plants for the collection.
