I invite you to attend the annual business meeting of the PNW on September 15, 2013. The meeting will be held at the home of Sandra Bastian, in Tenino, Washington, from 11:00am to approximately 3:00 pm. (directions below). According to PNW bylaws the association Board of Directors shall call for an annual meeting of the members to elect members of the board, review the organizations financial status, consider the overall well being and proposed operations of the PNW as well as its goals and objectives for the upcoming year. This is an opportunity for you to have a face to face conversation with other PNW members as well as the board to voice your opinion regarding issues significant to the PNW community as you experience them.
As with any voluntary organization the PNW is only as viable as the degree to which the needs and desires of its members are met. By taking part in the workings of the group you are more likely to assure the vitality of the association as well as promote a better connection between you and others who share similar interests in bamboo. I very much look forward to seeing you at the Tenino meeting!
